Strange Jedi Academy Problem
« on: June 13, 2009, 04:45:35 PM »
I reinstalled JA today to play with some friends and I find that I cant jump diagonally to the left. Up+Left+Jump = nothing.

I can jump all other directions. Its even stopping me from wall-running left.

Any ideas?

Yep, everything worked fine on them.

I had actually just switched keyboards and it looks like that was the problem. Going back to the old one fixed it. Looks like JA just doesnt like the better keyboard.

Lol. Was the new keyboard a USB one? If so, and as obvious as this sounds... try reinstalling it as a new hardware device.

I got the same problem, but then with crouching. The thing is; I can't crouch diagonally to the right. When I do that, my computer does: BEEP.

Lol, something like that. I don't know how to fix it.
On my other computer it works perfectly.

Nope, the keyboard has the regular little purple thing. Weird eh?

Mine was beeping too, Talon. I cant imagine what would cause this.

Don't you hate it when games have shift as a main key and you get Sticky Keys?

I am ALL about that statement. I make it a rule to turn stickeykeys off.

I like my driving/racing games and every now and then one doesnt like to press up and left or right with something else. You can usually get around it by changing the controls to the number pad.

I was VERY close to smashing my keyboard

IcarsuS' Tutor: I covered my ass by writing this, so when the inspector comes in and asks, 'what are these doing standing around?' I can just give him my summary that basically says they're morons.
